Scott Coker is the Dana White of the San Jose based MMA organization "Stikeforce" but personality wise, he could not be any different. Coker is calm, mild mannered, and tends to stay out of the spotlight, choosing to conduct business away from the media. Dana on the other hand is a true showman often making over the top comments and bold statements in order to generate interest and stir controversy.
With the bankruptcy of rival Pro Elite Inc. and armed with a television contract with Showtime/CBS, Strikeforce is poised to make some noise in the MMA world. Coker and company have made solid business decisions growing their brand regionally and earning the respect of many in the MMA community. The upcoming April 11 fight between MMA legend Frank Shamrock and MMA bad boy Nick Diaz in San Jose, CA is the kickoff to a promising era for Scott Coker and his Strikeforce team.
