Greasegate Part 2: Anderson Silva this time

After so much controversy between GSP and BJ Penn for the Greasegate incident, now P4P fighter Anderson Silva has put himself smack dab in the middle of it. Before his fight with Thales Leites at UFC 97, Silva can be seen blatantly rubbing vaseline from his face onto his body.


Most viewers probably missed Silva applying the Vaseline to himself before the first round, but after watching the video clip, one has to wonder if the athletic commission will step in and investigate. After the GSP/BJ Penn fight the commission implemented rules about only letting the cutmen like "Stitch" apply vaseline to fighters, but obviously letting a fighter rub his own face and smear it on his body is just as bad as having a trainer do the same thing.
