Vallejo native and Filipino born fighter Mark Munoz (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is set to take on UFC fighter Nick Catone (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC)at UFC 102. Munoz had a tough UFC debut losing to experienced veteran Matt "The Hammer" Hamill at UFC 96. Catone is 1-1 in the UFC and although he should be a tough opponent, this will be a much more competitive match than the vicious KO Munoz received in his bout with Hamill. The step down in competition, as well as in weight class should help Munoz to get his first victory in the octagon.
